How does brown contacts look over blue eyes?

I have very blue eyes, and I want to try on brown contact lenses for Thanks Giving, I tried googling it but all I find is blue contacts over brown eyes. Has anyone ever tried it? Also, this would be my very first time putting on contact lenses, any tips?
Where I’m going, everyone has brown eyes and there are a lot of people, I like to be different, but not the center of a stare show..

Colored contacts always have a big space for your pupil to see, that’s why some brown-eyed people with blue contacts have blue on the outer and brown around the pupil, which is actually a real eye color, but since there is no such thing as blue around the pupil and brown on the out side, you’d look totally fake.
